UPDATE- So, Thursday evening it is. We'll gather around 6:50 by the ticket booth (I think they have the nerve to call those little pens the 'Box Office'...pttt!), and then into the show! Must make it through the week...
Right, so, for all the singletons out there, and, I guess anyone else who enjoys British humour in the form of a cute, if somewhat cringe-worthy 30-something diary writer...we're planning to see the early show of "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" on Thursday, November 25 at 7:10pm. (If that causes real time conflicts for anyone, we can probably move it to another night- once I check my diary.)

Although I had thought of it more as spreading this most excellent word, rather than stealing it; I guess I didn't really think about Deidre's feelings toward the word beforehand. I see now how she may not have been quite prepared to part with "mexcellent" yet and I will refrain from using it in the future. Truly sorry Deidre, and I hope you can see that, although not well thought out, my intentions for using your word were nothing but the best.
I will try to make it if I can. If not I will see you at New Fashioned Xmas.

Ashley, don't worry about your use of "mexcellent". Spread the love, I figure... And besides, this isn't just my word anyway. Several people can take the credit for it, and I'm sure that they wouldn't mind you borrowing it for the description of truly "mexcellent" things... like Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason!!!
