Ashley's Adventures in Babysitting Continued...

Hey Guys,
Sorry about the lack of posts, but quite frankly there isn't really a whole lot going on out here. Kayden, Kelly and I went to see Zathura on Friday which was surprisingly really good. Like on the edge of your seat for most of the movie and small children crying with fear kind of good. Thankfully Kayden was not one of the crying children. Oh, AND he also made it through the whole movie without farting which was a relief. At Corpse Bride he must have farted about every two minutes, no exaggeration. If you think crying children are bad, try going to a movie with farting child. Luckily no one was sitting near us for that one.

Anyhow, smell aside, Kayden's a good kid. He had a dentist appointment last month and the poor guy had 8 cavities. Although it did mean that Kelly and I got his halloween candy; out of concern for his teeth Kelly got him to trade it in for a new skateboard instead.

So Halloween was fun. We went to a bonfire at my sister's boyfriend's neighbor's house and they had a rediculous amount of fireworks, it took a couple of hours to get through them all. Despite getting hit by bottle-rockets gone awry, it was very cool. It's crazy how many people set off fireworks around here on halloween, there must have been at least 4 other houses setting them off just on that street alone. And not just that neighborhood, everywhere we went, from about 4pm on you just keep hearing fireworks going off from all different directions. I heard somewhere that BC's the fireworks capital of Canada.

Still no phone, they actually forgot to send us gateway#5 so we had to call them again to ask them to send it, and sure enough when it finally did arrive it, too, had outdated software like gateways 1-4. Anyhow, so we're giving up on Primus and going to Shaw digital instead, supposed to be installed on Friday. Hopefully we'll have better luck.

HA! I remember my grade 10 English teacher saying how much she enjoyed high school compared to elementary...story time consisted of too many farting first graders for her.

Hey, I have to share a bedroom with your grandson, I'm entitled to a certain amount of mockery at his expense.

Tks Ashley. You are too funny. This is what I need for stress relief. I think you have a career as a reporter or critic or along those lines....... Lynn
