COORIDNATOR, NATIONAL HERITAGE GUIDES

Location: Confederation Centre of the Arts

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Period of
Employment: June 11 –August 31, 2007

Responsibilites: Provide National Guide Service and Coordination for the

Confederation Centre of the Arts:

• Train, supervise and lead a team of volunteer Heritage Guides


• Lead interpretive tours of the Confederation Centre of the Arts, the Art Gallery and backstage


• Answer questions regarding the Confederation Centre, Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown and the history of Canada

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a proven ability to:

• Work both independently and in a team environment


• Conduct tours and provide information to the general public


• Communicate in both official languages


• Lead and motivate staff/volunteers

Wage: Based on experience and qualifications: Minimum $9.50/hr
