and continuing on the great adventure theme...

As I write this Laura is probably on her way across the Atlantic Ocean, much the same way that Daniel began his Great European Adventure not so long ago. While Laura is certainly beginning a Great Adventure herself, hers is not of the European sort but rather of the Australian sort. From landing in London she will then fly on to Melbourne and will eventually end up in Geelong where she will be attending Deakin University for the next several months. And you can even read all about her adventures online!

BON VOYAGE LAURA!!

To also continue on the birthday theme I'd just like to point out that, incidentally, 104 years ago today (that's 1902) aviator Charles A. Lindbergh was born! It was 25 years later (not to the day) that he became the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic when he took his famous flight from NY to Paris - only took him 34 hours!!

Oh, and Laura, if you happen to be feeling homesick at any point just click on this link and you'll feel better in no time!

Aww, thanks Ash, it's true, it is VERY hard to be homesick when you're watching the sunrise and deciding which skirt to put on for the day. I love the smell of sunscreen!
And good luck to those of you joining in on the Great European Adventure this week!
