You should come home for it.

As for music, I didn't really have a plan. Feel free to bring anything along.

Apparently the FOHers have some sort of late night fiasco on Saturday consuming all of their staff.

All of their staff for one late night? Odd.

I get first call on the spare room, so settle down there, Isaac.

Dave, have you been practicing your push ups in case we have to carry Craig up the stairs again?

Someone please take Walkin' Nachos or whatever it's called.

I'm thinking Sunny D and Vodka.

It goes without saying, but, please no ANNE music. Anything else goes.

Mitch. Dude. Miss.

Can't wait to see everyone, new and old.

Please don't drink and drive.

A fiasco at "late night" or a fiasco late at night? Either way, they can always come afterwards.

Sorry Isaac, Terry does get first dibs on the spare bed. He did let me stay in his luxury villa in Dubai after all, so it's only fair. Plus he's Terry so he'd get it anyway. There is a pull-out couch that can be fought over though.

That's fair. I won't even be drinking. But I will be pumping the jams with a mix cd including Spank Rock, The Deathset, and other dance-indie bands!

This is going to be huge!

I have Laura's asbinthe here which I will take. You can never have too much Absinthe. Or can you, Ashley? What were those drinks you were making at one party? Flaming Cadillacs?

Thank you Ashley for the classy takedown of Isaac. Sorry, dude, I have powers beyond your belief. Have fun fighting for the pullout couch!

Are you a Jedi?

I was a Jedi when you all were in diapers. Atton Rand was my grandfather. As all good Jedi warriers, I only use my powers for good - and latching on to superior sleeping accomodations.

May the force be with you all, always.

You can have definitely have too much absinthe if it's mixed with whatever we added to make those flaming lambourghinis. I'm pretty sure we made them wrong. Laura did you write it down anywhere?

I certainly really wish I could come. I miss all you guys and all the awesome parties. Any forecasts for late August parties?

FOH has to deal with TWO Late Nights this weekend, so I don't think we'll be seeing any of them...which is why, yes Mitch, I agree, we need an August party too!

I thought we must have had some absinthe somewhere, whee! Ashley, you bet I have that mixture written down. Along with numerous quotes from that night...But I also have ouzo and I want to introduce y'all to the "cookie drink". Can we ever have too many kinds of liquor?

P.S. I love how many comments at party at Ashley's creates. How old are we?

correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't ouzo taste like liquorice?

if memory serves me, it's used in some cultures as a coming of age drink.

I can't drink licorice flavoured stuff - I have a reason, and I just wrote it down, but then realized you all know my son, and these are things I'd love for him not to know about his mother....

PARTY - and yes, Isaac, you and Terry are going to get along great, I know it.

This will be soooo fun. Almost as good as imagining Anne Shirley in The Vagina Monologues. See you there!

- la fee verte (how does one place that acute accent in html?)

Blogger LuLu said...

WHAT? Anne in a V-Day play? Have you all gone po-mo in the Box Office?
And I'm going to guess Ouzo works as a rite of passage drink in Greece. What kind of conversations am I missing in the phone room?

Right, I do have the recipe for flying (I still think it should be flaming) lamborghinis. Vodka, kaluha, absinthe, and fire. Oh, and straws.

Mitch - stand by for drunk dialing from Craiggers and yours truly.

Sarah - I must hear the Ouzo/licorice tale. You should schedule a sitter and come to the party! I do recall that Sunday afternoon that I lit a flaming Ouzo for your husband and it took so long to light that the glass was wicked hot and when he put his palm to the top burned a ring in his hand.

You are missing some good phone room conversations today, Laura - there was a heated discussion on abortion and now they seem to have moved on to how to properly put on condoms...

That recipe for flying lamborghinis sounds better than what we had last year. I think Kaluha will work much better than Baileys. We need some stronger staws though.

I am very intrigued about your licorice flavoured drink experience, Sarah. Perhaps you'd be ok with flying lamborghinis though - having to drink a beverage while it's on fire (and do it fast enough so the straw doesn't melt) might distract you from the licorice flavour. You and Jon should both come so you can seek revenge on these licorice flavoured drinks that harmed you.

I agree Sarah and Jon should definately attend.
