No Life Without Wife
You must understand...putting together one of my favourite English novels in Bollywood musical form is almost too much excitement for a girl to handle!
It's BRIDE AND PREJUDICE- the movie!!!
Bollywood, for anyone unfamiliar with the style, is a film industry in India that rivals Hollywood for the number of films it produces in a year as well as the tickets sold...and the best part is they are ALL musicals. The genius behind 2003's hit' Bend it Like Beckham', Gurinder Chadha, brings together two worlds-Bollywood and Hollywood- in a film masala that pays homage to the spirit of the movies, and how that has played out in two different continents. And like any film with a Mr. Darcy, it's a love story too.
If you want to see this spectacular spectacle of bright colours and chroeographed musical numbers to rival anything on Broadway, we'll be going to see it at City Cinema on Wendnesday, May 4th, at 9:05pm.

If you are reading this, it means you need to comment...but since I would never want you to read in vain, the movie was wonderful, fantastic, and very funny in a typical Bollywood manner (Terry needed to be in 'Moulin Rouge' mode to see it).
And we can always use more spontaneous singing and dancing, so stay tuned for more musical movie nights...
I'll comment! I was just wondering if anyone was interested in seeing "The Ballad of Jack and Rose". It's playing at City all month, so I'm sure if anyone was interested, we could find a time. Congrats all who were involved with Seussical...I heard it was a great success.
Yes, must pick night to see "The Ballad of Jack and Rose"
