Haunted Evening at the Mack...

Meet the Spice Girls!!

Posh Spice

Baby Spice

Ginger, already off to a good start...

And Sporty!!
You'll notice that we were missing a Scary Spice. Not to worry, there was enough scariness going on to make up for the loss:

The Desert Prophet, predicting all of our worlds sorrows and terrible things to come,

The British Honour Gaurd, making sure nothing was amiss,

Jack-O the Demented Clown

A friendly bear

And The Roman Guard (I mean, police from TWO areas, Britain and Rome? What were they expecting from us?)
Well, this....

Or this...

Girl Power!!

What really happens when we're at "work"...

It's popcorn (obvisouly). Slightly overcooked.

Lynn discovers the Japanese cup and ball...

Yes, it is a lot harder than it looks.

Determination is the key!

Yes, yes this is what we do at work.

What are we doing?
Well...

Deidre is sweeping large amounts of broken glass onto the box office binder, and I'm dumping it into the cardboard box while Lynn takes pictures.
(I bet for second there you were confused or something...)

What to do on a Saturday night in Charlottetown?

Some long-overdue photos from the hottest spot this summer- Late Night at the Mack! These were taken over the course of a few Saturdays of music, mayhem and mixed drinks.
(And for the other camera geeks out there, aside from this first photo, none of the pictures were taken using flash- 400 ISO really does a wonderful job.)
So, welcome to Late Night!

Shawna, Julain and Mike opening Late Night (do you recognize any of the heads in the audience from Front of House?)

A rather blurry (no it was not the alcohol)
Robert, looking for a home for a rest

Judy, and that wonderful ukelele.

The world is just a little more wonderful, thanks to Neville.

Pirates! (and more cowbell....)

Country boy and girl

Michel, all decked out.

Proud Mary, and her girls.

Devin, making the Box Office proud.

The venerable Terry Hatty

Rockin' out.

Two thrilled fans after another marvelous evening at the Mack.
Good night! Posted by Hello
(For the record, I'm the photographer- coming up with funny captions just isn't my thing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated).

Voulez-vouz chouchez avec moi, ce soir?

Saturday evening was "Moulin Rouge" night at 42nd Street Lounge. Of course, the "girls who never grew out of dressing up" weren't going to let that night go by, so Deidre and I found can-can dresses (thanks Karen!) put on a little (or a lot of) makeup, and dragged Ashley along for the ride. Here we go, from backstage behind the scenes to the end of a big night!

Our fearless photographer

(i.e. Devin's nametag)

Practicing plying our trade

A quick spin for the camera

Talk to the hand- watch out, this girl's got attitude!

A brief interlude with our favourite Box Office Poster Boy

Arriving at our destination- fashionably late, of course

Settling into our natural habitat

Deidre, celebrating a first place win in the "Best Period Costume" Competition. We'll take care of our prized red wine another night

Another year older, another year... well... less young anyways.

First off, Happy Belated Birthday to Rachel! Rachel has now been an official adult for a week now! (although considering the other official adults we work with, I would predict that this odd maturity and level-headedness you seem to possess will now start to quickly disappear)
Next, a Happy 20th to Tara! In the event of a quarter-life crisis, I reccomend quitting school and leaving the continent.
And, while we're at it, Happy Early Birthday to Kari, who, in several days, will be in her "mid twenties"!! Early mid-twenties, but nonetheless closer to 25 than to 20. Happy 23rd!

Why ain't it always summer?

So, another summer of Anne has come and gone, and to finish things off, we made it to the closing night party! With three digital cameras, a few inebriated employees, two kinds of cake, an empty lobby and one cardboard cut-out of Aaron...we kept ourselves amused...

Deidre, demonstrating our favourite part about Centre parties- Yes, we're here for the food! Posted by Hello
